Lilly Vazquez - Lead teacher

I'm Miss Lilly and have been with CuperDoodle since 2019. I have a diploma in ECE, Early Intervention and Specializations in Program Director and Communication and the Arts. I have been working directly with children since 2006.

What do you love about teaching or working with young children?

I love working with children because every day is a new day. I enjoy the energy and innocence that every child brings to the classroom. Every child is different, I try my best to know each of them individually and make a connection. I believe that school should be a fun place for children with hands on and visual learning, they learn best through play. I want them to be happy, feel safe, be silly, feel welcomed and overall I want them have a great experience. 

What do you like to do in your free time?

I have two children of my own, family time is very important to me. When I am not working I like to binge watch on Netflix, read, hike and spend time with family and friends, take road trips, cook, and online shopping. 

Lisa Golomeic - Teacher

I’m Ms. Lisa and have been with CuperDoodle since 2019. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development from Fresno State and have over 14 years of experience.

What do you love about teaching or working with young children?

One of the best feelings is hearing and seeing the laughter and smiles on children’s faces when they are learning in a fun way. Ever since I was young, I have always had a passion for helping young children around me learn. As I grew older, I decided that I wanted to teach children at their earliest ages about reading, writing and help to foster an endless desire for knowledge through play.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I’m very creative and love to show that in my classroom. In my free time, I love baking and spending time with my golden retriever named Daisy.

Melissa Rodriguez - Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Melissa.  I have my Early Childhood Education Degree and have been teaching in a preschool setting for almost 4 years now.  I have 2 cats, I love to do anything outdoors and Photography.  Some hobbies I have are snowboarding, hiking, photography and spending time with my family. 

What do you love about working with young children?

I love seeing them learn and grow new skills by learning and exploring during this important time in their lives.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I like to hike, mountain bike, snowboard, and do photography.

Jaso Vithiyashankar - Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Jaso.  I have been teaching young children for more than five years.  I was born and raised in Sri Lanka. I worked as a general manager in one of the UNDP project in Sri Lanka. I have been living in California since 2012. I am a mother of two college going students. I am living with my husband and both children in San Jose. I am very much passionated teaching young children and positively influencing in their life.

What do you love about working with young children?

I like their curiosity and creativity. I believe, my life has become more meaningful after I became a preschool teacher.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like spending my leisure time in many ways such as gardening, nature walks, making handmade greeting cards, and reading books.

Jordan Gips - Instructional Assistant

I'm Miss Jordan and have been with the CuperDoodle Program since 2021.

Kiko Rindner - Instructional Assistant

I'm Miss Kiko and have been with CuperDoodle since 2019. I have been working in the early childhood field for over 8 years I have an Associate Degree in Child Studies from West Valley College and a Child Development Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

What do you love about teaching or working with young children?

I enjoy working with children because even if the children may not remember preschool teachers later on, I believe the experiences they had in preschool years have an impact on them and shape their personality. I love seeing smiles on their faces, too. I have two adult children. I wish I studied child development before I raised them. It would helped understand their perspectives and allow me to provide guidance as they were growing up.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy taking walks and playing with my dog, Mocha.

I'm Miss Jhulan and have been with the CuperDoodle Program since 2021.

Kimberly Chung - Lead Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Kim, the founding Lead Teacher of the Mandarin Bilingual CuperDoodle Program since 2018. I graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Liberal Studies and continued to earn my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through University of Phoenix. I have worked as a Montessori preschool teacher for almost 10 years before obtaining my current position. I am happily married to my husband with two wonderful and energetic boys. My two sons are in the CLIP program.

What do you love about teaching or working with young children?

I love working with young children because of their curiosity in learning about the world around them. I also really like how they are able to share their imagination and elaborate stories with the teachers, just makes me smile.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to watch movies and just spend time with my family.

Sue Wiseman - Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Sue and joined CuperDoodle in the beginning of 2023. I have been working with children under five for 14 years, and in bilingual preschool for 11 years. I hold a Master Degree and California State Site Supervisor Permit. Engaging children in a loving, joyful environment with a whole child approach to education is something I believe in. I am looking forward to supporting children reach their fullest potential.  I am happily married and have three lovely kids, my family love road trips, camping and gold mining.

What do you love about working with young children?

Each day working with young children is full of adventures. I feel joyful and proud to see them learn and grow. As a teacher, I do believe we are influencing the future.

What do you like to do in your free time?

When I am not working, I often find myself gardening, baking and hiking.

Shumin Tseng - teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Shumin. I have taught preschool for over 15 years. I earned my Master Degree from San Jose State University as well as child development credits from Mission College. I also hold a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.  I am married and have two lovely children. My older one is a senior in college and the younger one is in 9th grade this year.

What do you love about working with young children?

Learning should be fun! I love working with young children because they are curious and full of imagination. It brings me so much joy in my heart when a child learns and discovers something new. I believe that every child is unique; each one is like a sponge that can absorb new things quickly and has the potential to learn and explore at school!

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my spare time, I love baking healthy desserts and I enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, and traveling with my family and friends.

Esther Lu - Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Esther. I graduated from NYIT with an MBA. I completed the preschool supervisor certificate program in West Valley College. I had been a preschool teacher for over 5 years in CCLC and Los Altos and began with CuperDoodle in 2022. I am a mom with 3 children. I enjoy cooking, sewing, watercolor and oil painting.

What do you love about working with young children?

To see the children grow in every way.

Eat and sleep.

Sowmya Somashekar - Teacher

Geraldine Batingana - Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Geraldine. I have a  Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, an AA Degree Child Development, and a CCTC Child Development Supervisor Permit. I have taught children ages 2-4 for over 10 years.  I have four kids and two cats. I love cooking and baking.

What do you love about working with young children?

Watching kids learn, explore, and develop characteristics that shape their personalities.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Walking and hiking.

Shakra Alam - Instructional Assistant

Hi, I'm Miss Shakra. I live to work with kids. That was my passion to work with young children. I also like to read books.

Doing Art and story time.

Read and go for walks.

Jamie Chou - Instructional Assistant

Hi, I'm Miss Jamie. I spent five years teaching at different Mandarin Chinese childcare programs, and another four years teaching in a regular childcare program prior to joining CuperDoodle in 2021.

What do you love about teaching or working with young children?

I love to work with young children, it has always been exciting to witness them growing and developing as time goes by. It has been a great pleasure to work at CuperDoodle, I very look forward to knowing your child and your family. Thank you!

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, exploring places, traveling, watching football and basketball, and listening to music.

Prajkta Jaware - Instructional assistant

Hi I'm Miss Prajkta. Since the age of 20, I had a passion and dedication in teaching the special students in India and so I pursued my Bachelors in Hearing Impaired. Recently, I got my Child Development Master Permit. I have 50 Units in Early Child Development from the De Anza College and Mission Colleges.  In future I would like to earn a Bachelor's degree in Education. I live with my two beautiful daughters and very caring husband in Bay Area.

What do you love about working with young children?

Teaching is a really rewarding and challenging field. It’s gives me satisfaction to see children's development in academic and non-academic areas as a human being. I love to see the joy on each child's face as they learn new things in their day-to-day life.

What do you like to do in your free time?

During my free time, I love to spend time with family and read novels. I also enjoy cooking, making clay art, knitting and gardening.
