Alice chan - lead teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Alice and I joined CuperDoodle at its founding in 2018 as a Lead Teacher. I love working with young children through a whole-child approach and watching them grow in curiosity, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning. Some of my favorite classroom projects include caring for class pets and exploring the life cycles of chicks, ducks, silkworms, and butterflies. These hands-on experiences inspire children to observe and compare how living things grow and change. I also enjoy collaborating with families through parent participation, where they share cultural celebrations, artifacts, and traditions that highlight the richness of our diverse community.
Over the years, I have also served as a Preschool Supervisor, overseeing two school sites and supporting teachers, families, and students. This year, I’ve returned to the classroom to teach in our bilingual Mandarin program, where every day is filled with joy, discovery, and meaningful connections.
Before joining CuperDoodle, I worked at the De Anza College Child Development Center (Lab School), where I was mentored by inspiring early childhood education professors. That formative experience deepened my passion for creating nurturing, hands-on learning environments for young children.
Outside of work, I love traveling, gardening, trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy exploring new sports like rock climbing and skiing during the winter months.

Sue Wiseman - lead Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Sue and joined CuperDoodle in the beginning of 2023. I have been working with children under five for 14 years, and in bilingual preschool for 11 years. I hold a Master Degree and California State Site Supervisor Permit. Engaging children in a loving, joyful environment with a whole child approach to education is something I believe in. I am looking forward to supporting children reach their fullest potential.  I am happily married and have three lovely kids, my family love road trips, camping and gold mining.

What do you love about working with young children?

Each day working with young children is full of adventures. I feel joyful and proud to see them learn and grow. As a teacher, I do believe we are influencing the future.

What do you like to do in your free time?

When I am not working, I often find myself gardening, baking and hiking.

Lilly rivera - lead teacher

I'm Miss Lilly and have been with CuperDoodle since 2019. I have a diploma in ECE, Early Intervention and Specializations in Program Director and Communication and the Arts. I have been working directly with children since 2006.

What do you love about teaching or working with young children?

I love working with children because every day is a new day. I enjoy the energy and innocence that every child brings to the classroom. Every child is different, I try my best to know each of them individually and make a connection. I believe that school should be a fun place for children with hands on and visual learning, they learn best through play. I want them to be happy, feel safe, be silly, feel welcomed and overall I want them have a great experience. 

What do you like to do in your free time?

I have two children of my own, family time is very important to me. When I am not working I like to binge watch on Netflix, read, hike and spend time with family and friends, take road trips, cook, and online shopping. 

 

Geraldine Batingana - Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Geraldine. I have a  Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, an AA Degree Child Development, and a CCTC Child Development Supervisor Permit. I have taught children ages 2-4 for over 10 years.  I have four kids and two cats. I love cooking and baking.

What do you love about working with young children?

Watching kids learn, explore, and develop characteristics that shape their personalities.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Walking and hiking.

Yihsien lee - teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Yihsien. I've been with CuperDoodle since 2025.

Maria Gonzalez - Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Maria. I've been with CuperDoodle since 2022.

Jaso Vithiyashankar - Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Jaso.  I have been teaching young children for more than five years.  I was born and raised in Sri Lanka. I worked as a general manager in one of the UNDP project in Sri Lanka. I have been living in California since 2012. I am a mother of two college going students. I am living with my husband and both children in San Jose. I am very much passionated teaching young children and positively influencing in their life.

What do you love about working with young children?

I like their curiosity and creativity. I believe, my life has become more meaningful after I became a preschool teacher.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like spending my leisure time in many ways such as gardening, nature walks, making handmade greeting cards, and reading books.

 

Rachna Raval- Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Rachna. I've been with CuperDoodle since 2023.

 

Kiko Rindner - Preschool Aide

I'm Miss Kiko and have been with CuperDoodle since 2019. I have been working in the early childhood field for over 8 years I have an Associate Degree in Child Studies from West Valley College and a Child Development Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

What do you love about teaching or working with young children?

I enjoy working with children because even if the children may not remember preschool teachers later on, I believe the experiences they had in preschool years have an impact on them and shape their personality. I love seeing smiles on their faces, too. I have two adult children. I wish I studied child development before I raised them. It would helped understand their perspectives and allow me to provide guidance as they were growing up.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy taking walks and playing with my dog, Mocha.

 

Jhulan Haldar - Preschool Aide

I'm Miss Jhulan and have been with the CuperDoodle Program since 2021.

 

Jamie Chou -Preschool Aide

Hi, I'm Miss Jamie. I spent five years teaching at different Mandarin Chinese childcare programs, and another four years teaching in a regular childcare program prior to joining CuperDoodle in 2021.

What do you love about teaching or working with young children?

I love to work with young children, it has always been exciting to witness them growing and developing as time goes by. It has been a great pleasure to work at CuperDoodle, I very look forward to knowing your child and your family. Thank you!

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, exploring places, traveling, watching football and basketball, and listening to music.
